Our Coaching Philosophy:
Player Development is the focus while not losing site of the players character.
Good sportsmanship is one of keys to passing on the Beautiful Game to the next generation of players.
Open and honest communication in order to improve our coaches, our players, and our club.
Our History:
Tejano Soccer was first formed in 2014 as a Select Team that would compete in tournaments in the Hill Country Area. Our Parent League, Hill Country Youth Soccer Association (HCYSA) would conclude and players wanted to continue to build on their skills and compete with teams from around Texas would continue with the Tejano Teams. Our first Tejano Team was made up for 12 and 13 year old Boys who went on to compete in Tournaments in San Antonio.
Since that early beginning the interest has grown to having teams that want to just practice to get better, having tournament teams, having teams compete in area leagues and provide more types of play. We have added 3v3 tournaments, 6v6 Leagues, and are now adding indoor soccer to the offerings.
“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and
most of all, love of what you are doing.” – Pelé
